Scholarship Winners Announced

St. Luke Hospital CEO Alex Haines and St. Luke Hospital Auxiliary President Janet Herzet announced the winners of the 2024 St. Luke Hospital and Auxiliary Scholarships. Each year the Hospital and Auxiliary jointly award two $1,500 scholarships to area students who are graduating from high school or are currently enrolled in a junior/community college and who are enrolled in a college, university, or junior/community college for the 2024-2025 academic year to pursue studies in a healthcare or health-related field.

The winners of the 2024 Scholarships are Jenaya Plett, a Senior at Centre High School in Lost Springs, and Natalie Sigel, a dual student at Marion High School and Butler Community College-Marion Campus from Marion.

Miss Plett will attend Emporia State University to pursue a degree in Nursing. Miss Sigel will attend Kansas State University to pursue studies in Speech Language Pathology.

Choosing this year's winners was a difficult task for the reviewers who received several applications from outstanding local students. St. Luke wishes all great success in their college careers!
