About St. Luke Hospital Auxiliary
St. Luke Hospital Auxiliary was founded in 1973 to raise funds and recruit volunteers to support St. Luke Hospital. It is guided by an Advisory Board and is a part of St. Luke Hospital Foundation. Physical address is 321 E. Main Street, Marion.
The Auxiliary Thrift Shoppe opened at its current location at 321 E. Main Street in 2013. St. Luke Auxiliary volunteers operate the Shoppe in downtown Marion. The Shoppe has clothing for the entire family, toys, household items and a variety of gift items. The profits obtained from sales are contributed to St. Luke to support capital, program, operating and special project needs of St. Luke Hospital. In 2023, the Auxiliary exceeded $1 million in aggregate giving to St. Luke Hospital.

More About the Auxiliary
St. Luke Hospital Auxiliary was formed in 1973 by Dorothy Duvall. The auxiliary is a member of the Hospital Volunteers of Kansas. The Auxiliary has approximately 150 volunteers. Equipment and many services have been contributed to the hospital through the dedicated efforts of Auxiliary volunteers. Financial contributions have been made possible through Shoppe revenues, various fund raising activities, and contributions through willing hands and caring hearts of the St. Luke Hospital Auxiliary volunteers.
The purpose of St. Luke Hospital and Living Center Auxiliary is to promote the welfare of St. Luke Hospital and Living Center and its sponsored programs and services. In October 2023, the Auxiliary exceeded $1 million in aggregate donations over the years to support St. Luke capital, program and special project needs.
Recent purchases: assisted with funds for an ultrasound machine and purchased a Sim Man (a wireless simulator that resembles an average adult, used as a training tool). The Auxiliary has pledged $75,000 twoard the $1 million 2023-2024 expansion of the Hospital's Therapy and Purchasing Departments.
