St. Luke Therapy Services is committed to supporting all ages (birth to geriatric) who have developmental delays and/or a specific exceptionality. Together, the Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapy departments want to offer the most up-to-date therapy modalities in our evaluation, diagnosis, guidance to families, and treatments. Our therapists are a devoted team who support each other and will provide evidence based models to improve positive outcomes for our patients.

Physical Therapy

We provide skilled interventions to treat the following:

Musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction, including low back pain, neck pain, headaches, postural    disorders and hand, hip, shoulder, knee, ankle or foot problems
Sports-related injuries
Balance disorders, including frequent falls or vestibular disorders (inner ear problems).
Neurological rehabilitation, including stroke or peripheral nerve disorders
Pre-operative and post-operative rehabilitation, including back, shoulder, knee, ankle, foot or joint    replacement surgeries
Prenatal and postnatal programming, including pregnancy-related musculoskeletal pain

Occupational Therapy

St. Luke offers occupational therapy services in their rehabilitation department. Occupational therapy enables people of all ages to return to and participate in meaningful daily, work and leisure activities.

Speech Pathology

At St. Luke, Speech-language pathologists assess, diagnose, treat, and help to prevent speech, language, cognitive, communication, voice, swallowing, fluency, and other related disorders. Speech-language pathologists work with people who cannot make speech sounds, or cannot make them clearly; those with speech rhythm and fluency problems, such as stuttering; people with voice quality problems, such as inappropriate pitch or harsh voice; those with problems understanding and producing language; those who wish to improve their communication skills by modifying an accent; and those with cognitive communication impairments, such as attention, memory, and problem solving disorders. They also work with people who have oral motor or throat problems causing eating and swallowing difficulties.
