Cook / Dietary Aide - Dietary Service
St. Luke Hospital and Living Center's Dietary Service department provides therapeutic nutrition to long-term care residents, medical/surgical patients and outpatients. This department is seeking two full-time employees that will be trained as a cook as well as dietary aide. Schedules can be discussed during the interview process.
Responsibilities
-Prepare and cook meals according to dietary guidelines and recipes
-Ensure that all meals are prepared in a timely manner and meet quality standards
-Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
-Assist with meal planning and inventory management
-Collaborate with dietary staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
-Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations
Qualifications
-Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a culinary or dietary role
-Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work well as part of a team
-Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Additional Information Position Type : Full Time Shift : Other Hourly Wage: $14.00 - $15.00 per/hour
