Surgery Manager - Surgery
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Surgery Manager to oversee surgical operations within our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing and healthcare management, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care. This role requires effective leadership skills, the ability to manage staff, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of medical practice.

Duties
Supervise and coordinate daily surgery operations of the healthcare facility, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
Provide health coaching and support to patients, promoting wellness and preventive care.
Conduct diagnostic evaluations and physical examinations for patients, particularly in medical-surgical settings.
Oversee medication administration processes, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and improve patient outcomes.
Train and mentor staff in best practices for patient care and operational efficiency.
Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement within the facility.
Provide nursing services in the acute care and emergency room setting according to the weekly rotation.

Skills
Strong knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
Proficient in medical-surgical nursing with experience in diagnostic evaluation.
Experience working in a rural healthcare setting is highly desirable.
Familiarity with medication administration protocols and aseptic techniques.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
